There's nothing worse than having to do the same thing over and over and over. It wastes not only time, but money.
Thankfully, programming and scripting languages, such as VB.NET, Python, SQL, ArcObjects and ESRI Modelbuilder, not only accomplish tasks much faster,
but also accomplish them with consistency and with documentation. We use programming and scripting to automate our map atlas product, streamline editing tasks,
and batch complex or frequently-used geoprocessing tasks.
